Oneiricon - The White Hypnotic (1995)

Ethereal music, with massive sections that sink in via repetition and overlap gently to create structures that are grandiloquent in design and scope. The word oneiric (of dreams) describes this perfectly, sparsely composed arrangements induce allusions to themes of epic proportions (the cosmos, the sky, the heavens). The mood is generally mournful but also manages to be a thing of beauty through its more introspective passages. Indeed it is often reminiscent of ecclesiastical choral songs in its aesthetic and delivery.
