The Rack (1991)

The Rack excels in surgically combining the meditative, contemplative state of Doom Metal... with the onrushing soul-rape and inevitable destruction that is Death Metal. It is not very often that you can say a single piece is both intense, and has the ambient draw of the astral realm. Whilst not the most elegiac, or picture perfect combination of the two, it rises well above anything else of this mould due to the fact that it does not compromise pure spirit or vision for forced concepts such as the imaginary phenomenon of 'artistic integrity.'
